Yeah, you're a dick, but whatever. You know what you're talking about and I agree with you 99% of the time.
Stupid people need a good crapping on sometimes. Like that "heel toe" post... It's like people who pronounce Audi as "Oddie"... sometimes you just wanna fist f**k their face. Hope you find an M you want. G'luck.

Gotta watch is damn near daily, the pop up and leave real quick, mine was listed all of 15 minutes before I bought it. There where quite a few interlagos last I checked, I'll keep an eye out as well, it's worthwhile to take a road trip for a good deal. Costing me about $400 to fly out and drive the car home vs. $1000-$1800 to ship it.

I actually stripped the car relatively quick, everything is off and OEM back on in 2 days.
Rack of goodies that I cleaned off after this picture.

Well, you know my color preference...
When I bought mine BMW Melbourne had Black and Red 2007 they punched and were selling as new, they didn't want to deal so I passed. Might want to check them. As long as you don't deal with Fields. I just found out they mark parts up 50% from list... Cheers |

As such as a street only car 430 wheel is way to low, I wanted to buy a new coupe and approach HPF about turboing it but they say they wont do it. Which is why I said ok no more selling the SC. Now I am thinking of saying the hell with it and getting an e46 m3 as a replacement and turboing that. Even though our shop already has a HPF 2.5, a SC e46 m3, and an NA one (seriously don't need 4 e46 m3 shop cars ) But I want the power, and it seems the only option. Not enough interest for the Z4Ms for HPF to do it.

Just FYI - There was a very cherry, very low mileage, 2006 E46 M3 ZCP 6MT on craigslist in the Dallas area about two weeks ago...About as close to "new" as one might find...

But I digress. What you described with the practice of driving on purpose off-line in a school or DE environment is frowned upon, especially if other drivers on the track at the same time does not know you're trying to practice purposely going off-line. Now, if you're talking about trying a slightly earlier apex than what you're used to doing, or trail-brake into a very late apex, then that is to be expected. Everyone is fine-tuning their line on a lap by lap basis. But taking a turn way off apex or car widths away from the proper turn-in...I dunno. Not something I would try without letting other people I share the track with know. |
