KW V3 with Turner Adjustable Camber Plates install problem

Hello,

I attempted but failed today to install the turner e46 camber/caster plates to my KW v 3s.

I had a couple of problems. Firstly the diameter of the the top mount bearing/hole was much larger than the diameter of the shock shaft and secondly I couldn't figure out how to mount them using the KW spring hats.

I have seen other threads where this combination has worked so know its possibleI am just after some guidance on what else I need to make it work.

Any help much appreciated.

I thought Z4 M's front suspension was based on the E36 M3, hence the E46 plates would not work? Also when you choose your camber plates, don't you have to specify the spring perch diameter (2.25", 60mm or 2.5")? IIRC the KW's use both a 60mm or oem style spring perch. Don't recall which are V3's.

Thanks for the reply,

The V3s use there own perch, before purchase I came across this add:

http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=15806

Which led me to believe that it should be possible. I have since spoken to Simpsons and whilst they do fit they had to manufacture and machine various parts to make it fit.

I can see it needs some reducing washers/shims for the top mount but not sure how they got a bearing in the assembly too?...
