Any interest in straight pipes?

Would anyone be interested in catless section 1 or even straight pipes/mufflers deletes? I am gonna start a project with my nephew (he is very talented at welding and mandrel bending). We are gonna make a custom exhaust for my car, and if it goes well we and there is interest we could fabricate some more. This may be a few weeks or a few months away depending on how the sourcing of materials and fabrication goes. We could even make some mufflers if that would be on interest to anyone. Let me know what you guys think/want (an x-pipe isn't out of the question either) and I will see what we can get done. If there is interest we will dyno test the parts. Before anyone asks about price, I am not sure and can make no promises, BUT expect it to be very competitive as this is mainly a project for me w/ the option of making a some extra pieces if interest provides.

I would be very interested in this. A muffler delete that is mandrel bent and retains the stock mounting points and exhaust tips would be awesome and I would for sure buy it.

I'd be down for muffler delete if it can be done for around 400 which I'm sure it can be.

Titanium tips would be cool but I'd be fine with polished with something like re diablo tips.

I would possibly be down for xpipe/mid pipes depending on price and if they bolt up to factory headers.

We are gonna start playing around with my car this weekend. Tips can be easily customized as we would hand build each of these and on a small scale. I'll let you know how things go. I'll get some dyno's, but I have software so it will likely adapt to any changes more effectively than a stock car.

Honestly I don't care if it makes power or not....as long as it sounds good and is well built....and not too loud. I am eagerly awaiting an update on this project and I have money in hand....so let's see some results!

In for straight pipe muffler replacements. Took my mufflers off yesterday and it's sick. Shouldn't cost more than 250-300 bucks imo, it's all of maybe 2 feet of pipe on each side with a single bend should work, a decent flange and a tips will be the most expensive part. It should also be pretty light as well, should only have to use one of the hangers instead of the two that the factory monster uses.

Post some pics as soon as you can. I want to have this done so I think I am going to take a few pictures from people on here and show them to the exhaust guy to see what he can do. Did you use mandrel bent pipes or crush bent? What diameter and what kind of exhaust tips?
