Quantenverschränkung der Glas
I'm curious if any of you have experienced quantum glass entanglement in your Z4, or if this is only a quirk in my car. If I roll up one window, then the other, everything operates normally. If I roll up both windows so that they arrive at the top at the exact same time, then both windows become entangled and immediately roll back down together.

Hahaha. Spooky.
I actually solved this one a while back. When one window hits the top, it continues to torque for a split second. This dips the bus voltage enough for the other window to lose some torque, and think it hit an obstruction. I never did them perfectly simultaneously, but I'm sure it's a similar effect.

Cool! I thought it had something to do with the obstruction circuit, but couldn't come up with a good explanation for why it happened. Bus voltage -- brilliant! What are you, a rocket scientist?

We get a lot of mileage out of that saying around here.
My favorite is "Come on! This isn't brain science, it's just rocket surgery!"

I mean if you would do this but not completely syncronized (for example one window is still just half way and going and the other one near the top, this would also happen. I mean the bus voltage would just as equally drop.

Always happened to me when I would hit each switch about 1 second apart.
As soon as the first window hit the top the other one would reverse. I now wait until the first one is all the way up before hitting the other one. No more reversing. I'm surprised they even have auto-up in the US for fear of being sued. Not surprised that the obstruction sensing is very sensitive.
