Hello all,
I've already posted a few questions but it's now time to get officially introduced. Just picked up this black beauty yesterday. Desperately waiting for it to get warm out. I like to tinker with my cars, so I will probably be asking a lot of questions on how to do BMW specific mechanical work. This car is a blast to drive and I am glad I've found a great community of other enthusiasts. |

First post check-in. I've been lurking for a month or so since I'm considering a Z4MC to replace my current ride once I no longer 'need' a 4-seater. I've decided that it's about dang time I had a proper 'sportscar' and I've narrowed my candidates down to either the Z4MC or Cayman S.
Anyway - probably go back to (mostly) lurking - and learning - for a while. No real hurry to make a decision. Have to keep my current car at least until my oldest gets her drivers license sometime after September. |

Picked up a Z4 Coupe last Sunday from Carmax. It has been my favorite looking car for some time and I am happy to be an owner now. Its a great compliment to my 2008 528i. Just need to get a coolant and brake fluid flush and its 100%. I do need to do something about the trim as the wife is unhappy with the aluminum and how reflective it is.
I have been enjoying the forum and the advice available. |

Hi from PNW
Just saying hi to the Zpost community.
I purchased a 2007 Z4MC this weekend, a few years after unwisely selling my Z3 3.0 coupe and missing it quite a bit. The Z4 has a lot more scoot and a tad more comfortable, and no one seems bothered by its nice looks (not that I care). Hoping the Z4MC is as trouble free as my Z3. It was a 2 owner car, bought in Bellevue WA and always serviced at the local dealer, and with 57K miles, doesn't have any concerns so far. Was looking hard at older Porsche 911's, pre-1997, but finding one without excuses or needing lots of attention, at the same price I paid for my Z4MC, well, that wasn't really working out. Glad to be back in the Z fold. Last edited by davehg; 01-25-2015 at 08:35 PM.. |

Hello fellow Z4 drivers!
I own a Silbergrau 2003 Z4 3.0i roadster as a second car. My primary daily driver is a 2006 Acura TSX with no modification whatsoever so far. This is my first BMW ever and I am planning on keeping this car for a long time because I like older BMWs that don't have tons of electronics and technologies to hinder the driving experience and making maintenance difficult. But since the body and engine are aging, I am planning on doing some modification and restoration as time goes by and this website will be great resource to what I'd like to achieve with this car. I hope to learn a lot about my car from this website and fellow members! |

New to the Forum
Hey guys!
Just bought my second Z4. A 2008 black/black 6spd. Coupe with 34k miles. I love BMW's, this one is my 9th BMW. I currently have a black/black 135i convertible as a second car. I work for an independent European car dealership in Portland, OR. I ran our service department for a few years, looking forward to contributing to some technical discussions on these cars. They are a blast to drive, a true embodiment of the BMW brand.

Hello everyone,
I'm from Colorado and currently living in Lithuania. Graduated from UCDenver in December and wound up in Eastern Europe. Will return to CO in two weeks and hopefully land a good job that can provide the funds for a Z4MC. Although, I am debating whether I should wait and save for a house first. I got into BMW a little more than 10 years ago. Two 2002's, two E30's and one E36 which I'll keep for track and auto-x. Anyways, been lurking for a while and you all have some beautiful cars. |
