Is this more like a vinyl than a sticker? Just wondering because the front peeling off seems like it would represent a vinyl type.

It is a decal. Which is like a vinyl. Which is like a sticker.

Yes it is vinyl sticker, not printed on a clear background but the actual outline of the letters.

I'm sorry, I guess I didn't phrase the question correctly.

Our local board has Vinyl Stickers...It actually requires a squeegee and wet application in order to get it perfect...It has a denoted thickness to it:

I didn't know if it resembled something like that as well.

When I worked with window tint...Stickers and Vinyl weren't considered the same. Sorry for thread jack

It does look like that, and you probably could apply it that way, however, the way I was told is simply to remove the backing, place on the window, press down, and then remove the front.
