Installed Toyo R888Rs - 265/35/18 square setup and updated alignment specs. Don't mind the dirty bumper, needed to drive it home in the rain.

Today, I removed the useless SOS module and replaced it with this little storage cubby (OEM part# 51467073533). Now I've got a little extra storage. Too bad my cell phone is too large to fit in it. Got it from ECS Tuning. Easy to pop out with a trim tool from the rear, unplug the module and pop in the cubby.

Speaking of storage: I hung two 'first aid kit' boxes under my seats. Kinda pricey since the used boxes I bought surprisingly did not come with mounting brackets, which cost a stupid amount of money considering they're about 2 cents worth of molded plastic. But at least now I can actually store stuff like a wallet in a place that is not a contortionist's job to reach.

They were excellent at NJMP lightning! Heated up quick and stayed sticky throughout the event. Unfortunately I am new to The Z4M and do not have prior lap times with this car to compare to.
These are DOT approved and do have some wet traction but I certainly do not have confidence in pushing the car when roads have standing water. Noise is definitely a factor especially at highway speeds. TOYO says the new design r888r should not heat cycle out as quickly as it's predecessor too. So far, I am happy with the decision and am keeping my other tires for primary street use. Hope this helps!

Flowmaster custom exhaust. Forget about stereo upgrade and just enjoy the sound. Same setup as others have done. It is considerably louder than stock but the low rumble is hard to resist. Can't really say it increases power but seems more responsive or maybe that is just my driving enjoying the sound! |

I can tell you that switching from the stock knob to the ZHP knob has improved the feel for me. I dont know, maybe its in my head but definitely feels better. Like you, I'll probably look into others when I can find a good deal.

I added Liqui Molly MoS2 after reading several threads from other S54 owners.... hoping to extend the rod bearing issue.
I'm only at 27K and currently on Liqui Molly 10W60 oil also.

Just an FYI - MoS2 didn't do much for me according to my last oil analysis. I'm currently trying out Ceratec.

XMetal, thanks for the heads up.... I think we should post these results. I'm planning on doing an oil analysis at my next oil change just for this very reason. Keep us posted.

I'll post a summary at the end of the year when I get that Ceratec analyzed comparing Ceratec, MoS2, and ZDDP. I will most likely do my bearings at that time and can probably show if the oil analysis are correct in determining wears as well.
