Has anybody been? I never have and was wondering if it's worth the drive from New Orleans. What do you do there? How are the drives? And as far as the Blue Ridge Parkway and the Tail of the Dragon, do yall run those roads fast or at 40mph? All input is appreciated!

I might make the drive from Mobile, AL...still contemplating.
From what I hear, it is better to keep to the posted speed limits on the tail of the dragon. I think it is pretty heavily enforced, because it is pretty well known that people go up there for only one reason!

There are photographers that hang out on the sides of the road, and take shots all day, so you may get lucky with a few pictures!
