we're impatient because you often delay posting the stuff people wanna see.

for example, the headliner is installed, but all you've shown is a pic of the hardtop from the outside.
and you installed coilovers months ago that people are still waiting to hear about.

so.... yeah

I think Beedub did a port/polish on his engine... don't remember

anyway, remember that these type of mods usually add a very fun peaky top end, and take a little bit of torque away everywhere else. I think 3.5 stroke + cams would be the best way to spend your NA build money. I don't think you'll see any more than 15rwhp out of a port polish, and thats only at 7500rpm+

edit: wow I see the stroker kit is $7700!!!! thats a lot of dinero
i did have port and polish work done by my tuner, simpson motorsport.... but ive yet to get a new dyno on this car!! i never did baselines!!! why??? cus im a cheap ass and didnt want to pay..... ive made alot of mistakes re the build of this car imo..... woud love to go back and change some things... the port and polish work?? did it make any difference??? honestly.... i couldnt feel anything, maybe it felt smoother afterwards but .... thats about it...

If you're really looking for power and money isnt an issue then just build a monster FI S54 logically you will get more power that way. NA I6 engines are torquey but they lack the brute force a snail can offer plus you will spend 4x the amount to get you there. But if you want an NA monster engine I6 isnt the way to go IMO. You might as well drop the V10 or V8 in there for the money.

Just my 2cents.

Kind of want to see a N/A build. Good luck on whatever you decide, though.

I'm glad they were honest with you

Just PM me when you're ready for FI, I can get you a serious discount. Or stop by zip 18974 sometime, and I'll take you for a test drive before you take the big plunge

So much for that NA idea then...

Your car will still be unique with FI though, after all there aren't many who have that pretty flower pattern painted on their roof.

I'd still like to stroke it to 3.5liters in the long run. Just for that big bump in torque

Its a standalone computer that costs about $5k installed and tuned. You don't really NEED it unless you have money to burn

Port and polish on an s54 head is completely useless. All you can do to make some more NA power is a cam swap and intake manifold, and that wont get you even half way to 400 wheel. Only other thing really is a stroker, but that's really big money for around 30hp.
