look under your hood, if you have stickers near the headlights that warns you about 25,000 Volts then you have factory Xenons. I don't think angel eyes were available before '06

Not to mention the shutters that raise when you turn on the brights.

That's not too bad, one of the xenons in my audi A6 died (bulb and ballast) and they were $1400, ballast was $800 bukb was $200 and had to do both sides (so colour would match) plus labour and reprogramming for both headlights, thank goodness it was covered by warranty!!

I ditched the Audi a couple years ago, when the warranty expired.

Dumb question. I have a recently purchased '05 with clear turn signals. Which lights are these? I didn't see any Xenon warning labels, and the light doesn't seem super white or bright.

If not Xenon, what is the difference b/n the clear turn signal and the orange turn signal headlights?

Z4's from 2005 and up had clear turn signals

If this doesn't look familiar you don't have Xenon lights

Sounds like they are halogens then. Xenons will have a warning and will seem pretty bright.

There are many Z4 lights produced

Graphite without xenon
Graphite with xenon
Chrome without xenon
Chrome with xenon

The above options were also ALL produced in amber or clear.

The only difference between your chrome/clear/non-xenon lights and chrome/amber/non-xenon lights is the amber/clear.
