Rear wheels to the front???
I know you can run 18x9 et35 on the fronts all day. Can somebody explain why you can't run stock rear wheels on the front of the Z4 M???? I have seen offsets as low as 22 on the fronts with 9.5 widths. I realize I will have to dial in more camber but thats standard for track use anyway.
And even run a 5MM spacer on the rears also.

9.0 et30 + 5mm spacer = 9.0 et25
not et35.

You can certainly run rear stock wheels up front. With enough camber. That's what some budget strapped E46 M3 racers usually do, they'll get a set of 4 rear wheels for the E46 M3 and run a squared setup that way, and go 275 wide all around for maximum grip.
IF you're on an aftermarket suspension with adjustable collars, you'll need to keep a set of very close eyes on the relationship between the collars to the inside of the tire, as well as the distance between the outside of the tire to the arch. It can be done with 3-3.5º negative camber on the E46 M3 when the wheel arch liner is removed. I suspect it can be done on the MZ4 Coupe if the same parameters are followed. As it currently stands, I'm fairly confident that I CAN run the 275 all around on a set of 4 rear wheels if I increase front camber from -2.5 to -3.5, since with the addition of the camber bolts on the bottom it brings the top of the wheel closer to strut, thus giving more clearance space on the outside to the arch. Ideally, if I can get a set of 18"x9.5" with 23-27 mm offset, I can run the same wheel set-up front and back and rotate the track tires with some moderate rolling of the fender lips on the front.

EXCELLENT INFO. Thanks for the help! I have extra wheels laying around and I figured why not use those for autocross and some ARC-8's for DE's and whatever for street.
Thanks
