Detailed my car
Had a chance to do my own detail.
1. Meguiars shampoo 2. Meguiars clay 3. M205 Polish w Lake country CSS white pad 4. Wolfgang Deep Gloss Sealant 3.0 5. Detailers Pro Maxwax 6. Meguiars hot shine tire 7. Meguiars Rim protectant The sealant and gloss really made the flakes "pop." Yesterday's rain gave me a chance to look at the sealant's beading action. It's like rain ex for your paint. small scratches Some more small scratches Some swirls |

I'm absolutely in love with WDGS. I top it off with Dodo Juice RR and HC and it's beads like none other. I can't really even foam gun my car anymore because the shampoo just runs off. Pretty cool.
Awesome that you only needed M205...1 step is always a nice way to do a car. Looks good, nice results. |

It does more after a detail like this. I usually mist some detailer after the car is waxed and wipe it down. Helps reduce attracting the dust

M205 was only necessary. I did a test spot with ultimate compound and it was too aggressive for the swirl removal. I was only trying to remove swirls and did isolation spot removal on those heavier scratches you see.
It collects dust really easily. But a nice static microfiber towel removes it with such ease you would be surprised. Thanks! |
