If it makes you feel better, a friend's supercharged coupe with less mileage went for $22.5k... less than he could have gotten stock.

Ok, so you're obviously taking a big hit on this. How you will qualify the loss? Is it just a matter of writing it off as "it costs a lot of money to have fun with cars, and I'm ok with that"?

Better that than sit around and sulk over it right? I guess you can also look at it another way and say the hit ZStig took was still cheaper than the 5-year depreciation on a 997tt.

I knew you were going to get killed on this, I didn't think it was going to be that bad though. Wish I had known as I forgot to follow the auction, I would have paid more just to take the SC off then flip the car and get an SC for free.
