GoPro Time Lapse test (Latigo Canyon)

I found a nearly new GoPro on Craigslist, so I took the bait.

Here's my third attempt at a time-lapse video, this time ascending Latigo Canyon near LA.
Camera is strapped to passenger seat using GoPro's head strap. It fits nicely over the passender seat. Video gets interesting at around 50 seconds in.

This is a brilliant ten-mile piece of road near Malibu. The car is running great on Pilot SuperSports; highly recommended. Saw a genuine BAC Mono and a Carerra GT today as well. There is no audio track ( ambient was just lost in wind noise anyway) so make up your own

Disclaimers and bitching prevention: All lane deviations were to avoid rocks, animals (one deer, one squirrell) and cyclists. (It's not obvious here, but the Fiat waved me around them.)

Somethings wrong with the video. You might have it set on youtube to now allow embedding.

Cool video, I like the concept. Is the camera moving around or is it a setting to keep the video more stable? I see the car moving around a lot in the frame, but the road looks smooth from shot to shot.

thanks! It was set to disallow embedding, just fixed it.

Yeah, the video was post-processed to remove the gopro Fish-eye effect and stabilize the image. Camera was vibrating a bit from wind and road bumps.

Does look like a great road!

Time lapse works well, but I find myself missing the engine and exhaust sounds. Then again, I was able to see the road/drive in a quick view!

I was up there from last wednesday till sunday! I saw that bad mono as well, took some still pics with my go pro. I was mostly on mulholland, stunt, decker, piuma, and portrero. Love driving those road during the week in the morning when literally no one is up there
