What does this light mean

I started my car up this morning and the light just next to the 8 on the rev counter which is a orange square with a wavy line through it came on for about 10 seconds and then turned off.

Does anyone know what it is for?

For future reference, your owners manual also describes all of the possible illuminated lights that may display on your dash.

Thanks dubs I know but I was running late to work and didn't have time to check. I just wanted to be sure I wasn't going to damage something by driving it until I get time to check tonight.
