Nice! What did it set you back and what was done to the vent tube to make it fit?

Think it looks way out of place in there... But that's JMHO.

Can you feel any difference after the install?

Yes it's alot tighter , why do you think it's out of place ?? The other one I had was hitting the metal air tube and it was driving me crazy this one has the cut out in the middel just for the tube and everything on the strut tower fit just right I did not have to add washers or remove alinment pins .And it cover those ugly strut tower holes

Several of us ran into the hitting the air tube problem with the Strong Strut. It looks like there were some small changes in the mid 07 MY on that changed the orientation/height slightly. Strong Strut provided a set of shims on the cross bar to fix this issue for existing cross bars. They also told me they would slightly change the amount of bend in the cross bar going forward to prevent the need for shims.

BMW made some "interesting" changes along the way in this car--short strut tower bolts, long bolts, air tube, different bolt/nut setups on the firewall bar section (from a bolt/nut to one-use stretch bolts), mirrors, crest caps on wheels....

I have the same design on the Roadster. I painted it black and that makes it look better.

This morning I grinded 1/8th of an inch indentation in the strut brace (Strong Strut) just where that tube is. Painted it black and now no hitting anymore.

My car has a few of the weird stuff. The most annoying one is the strut bolt is thicker than most M Coupes earlier and later builds. I kinda like that it's thicker, but Vorschlag had to ship different camber stuff to fit my "particular car".
