Volk te37SL? HELP

Hi,
I know this might have been discussed in other threads, but I can't get my head straight on this....

I'm about to order brand new 18" te37SL for my z4 M coupe. The car sits on stock suspension at the moment but will have KW clubsports at a later date. I also have 380mm brembo kit that is going to be installed. I want to use r-tires, r888. I want as wide rear tires as possible without modification 275-285~.

I now wonder, if this is the right way to go. My dealer is offering me these sizes TE37SL BK 18" 9,5 +22 front and 18" 10,5 +20 rear.

Will they fit nicely? Will I have problems with tire choices?

If so, can you please give me some nice numbers to go with instead? Wheels and tires is a jungle for me, and I just want what gives me the most performance.

Thank you so much in advance!

Best regards,
Greg

hi greg alittle too aggressive for MY taste, if you want a setup that can be used hard and tracked like an ///M car should be used this will limit tyre choice and most likely rub.

check out the sticky at the top of this page for detailed fitments on the ///M, study it very closely.

Hey Greg,

For reference, I have TE37's in 19x10.5 +22 in the rear and 19x8.5 +30 in the front. I'm running 275/30/19 Pilot Super Sports in the rear and 245/30/19 Nitto Invos in the front. I'm also on KW V3's with Clubsport rear springs.

Here's what it looks like when I had 18x8.5 et 35 front and 18x9.5et 22 rear, which is the perfect and correct fitment for this car. Tires are 225/45R18 and 255/40R18 Advan AD08, which run quite a bit wider than their sizes suggest. For less aggressive tires, you could probably get away with a 245/275 setup.

I think the offsets you listed are a little low, and the fitment is more aggressive than what would be ideal for perfectly fitting in the wheel wells.

ok thread over.... this exactly correct. even that rear can limit tyre choose, Imo 10.5" wide rear is just not an option for this car unless you drive like a grandma .

Agreed. I think 10.5ET20 is a bit too much. I'm running 10.0ET25x18 with 275/35 and had rubbing issues before fender modification. I still rub going up driveways and such.

Any side pics or shots from above fender well? Clarification on "lots of camber" would be good for those looking for an aggressive fitment.
