Exhaust Tips on Z4M Coupe
Has anyone installed different exhaust tips on the rear of their Z4M Coupe?
I don't want to get an aftermarket exhaust. I don't want to spend the money on that right now, and I like the sound of the natural S54 engine. This photo I found from angiefest: This makes me want to get new tips and put them on the OEM mufflers. I know this is an aftermarket exhaust..but it fills the bumper up so much nicer. Versus This: I "thought" I saw somewhere a person installed C6 Vette Tips, but not sure where. |

^yeah, the corvette c6 tips were custom welded to a magnaflow on tekmoe's car i believe. as for aftermarket tips, i really like the staggered look of the rpi's - one large diameter tip flanked by a smaller diameter one.

I have the Supersprint Powerloop tips and I'm looking to sell them if you are interested. I think the same tips in the pic you posted.

I don't know if it was this forum but somewhere a Z4M owner replaced his tips with E92 M3 tips which are slightly larger and with thicker walls. Wish I could find it, I am also interested in more prominent tips for my stock exhaust.

I was at 4ngiefest and met the owner of that car.....it has supersprint exhaust, which sounds awesome. Come to think of it, I bet some magnaflow mufflers would sound great on this car!

I was at 4angifest as well. The only M Coupes there were mine, my buddy's interlagos blue, and another interlagos blue. He had stock looking exhaust tips if I remember correctly. I'll have to look at some of my pics...

Yeah, I only saw three Z4M coupes....the guy with the supersprint exhaust was with his son (335i); I was there in the M3....I also like the black grills on the interlagos blue....I'm going that route.

Looks great! Exactly what I'm looking to do. Do you know the part number for the mufflers?
