Sharing a few pics of the APR wing and splitter installation on my Z4MC. Thanks to Speedware for the install, amazing work!

I havent seent the car in perosn yet since I'm travelling and I cant wait to see it next week! 1st track day for this year is scheduled for April and I'm really excited to see how it performs.

Pictures of the installation process are on their FB page: Here

Thank you for working with APR to create this splitter! Tony @ APR said he also used your car as the reference for the wing.

Not that I would do it since the idea doesn't really apeal to me on a roadster, but I was always wondering how the wing would look like on a roadster, any pics guys, btw the car looks great

Tony is talking about making another mounting bracket that would be more universal. Right now they sell the same version I have. The install is tough because you need a good shop to shape the bottom of the bracket to match the multi-angle contour of our hatch. APR spent 7 hours making these for me and they match the hatch contours perfectly. The guy who mounted the wing to my coupe is a true automotive artist.

Yup, we had to do the same:

I coached z4mnyc in this APR outfitted Z4MC yesterday at Pacific Raceway with the Porsche Club. The splitter/wing combo are more than just cosmetic; when properly adjusted they really work
At 140 MPH down the front straight the additional downforce was noticeable and the car was very planted going deep into the turn 2 braking zone. Turn 2 is normally a 60 to 70 MPH turn in my TCK DA equipped Z4MC but the splitter/wing gave us at least an additional 5 MPH. Very impressive.
The front splitter was set a zero and we ended up with the wing at six degrees for the best front to rear balance.

Thanks for the great instruction yesterday Jim
I was really happy with how much more planted the car was through turn 1 and 2. The braking into T2 was just so much more stable. I really do reccomend this setup for anyone who frequently tracks their car.
Now that we have the whole O2 sensor situation sorted out, the engine with the ESS tune is also just fantastic and sounds brilliant! Props to ESS and Speedware for working through this puzzle and figuring this out.

IMO black coloured Z is the best combination with the APR splitter...

I tend not to not like large wings, but damn, that wing, splitter, and rim color scheme makes it look mean/amazing.
