TM Equal Length Headers

I have been looking for some Euro/CSL headers lately in the classifieds and have found a couple but after looking at the cost for used, buying the o2 sensors and possibly having bungs welded.....I started looking at just buying 'em new.

Came across some interesting buys at Turner Motorsports for some SuperSprint for $2100 and the Turner Equal Length for $1200

Leaning toward the TM's for the advantages of the individual equal length, the ceramic coating and of course, the price. Is anyone running with these? Appreciate any other input or concerns from the forum!

http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-28...d-headers.aspx

Thanks,
P

Why are you looking to buy new sensors?

Also, check out the dyno plot on the Turners.
There's a bad drop off in the middle of the power range that I don't like.

Tuner can't guarantee that the headers fit the Z4M without modification, per an email discussion several weeks ago. They didn't say they wouldn't fit, but said they hadn't sold any to Z4M owners who could confirm that they DID fit. I'd been eyeing them as well, so if you go with them please let us know how they work out.

Definitely staying tuned here - please so let us know. I'm the one that had the email conversation with them. I asked about fitment because they sell them to fit M3 and Z4M and as we all know here, there are differences in actuality. I was told that yes that is how they market them but no one had ever sold them to a Z4M owner and they don't know if they will fit. I didn't proceed because even if they are cheaper than than other aftermarket headers, I didn't want to have to beat $1400 headers into submission to fit. So you experience will be enlightening for sure. Good luck, keep us updated - please!
