car cover
I've never tried to post to a site like this so hope this gets through. My wife gave me a car cover for my 2006 Z4 3.01 roadster for Christmas. She bought it at Bavarian Autosport and it is a horrible fit - tight at the rear sloppy at the front and comes nowhere near fitting. Can anyone suggest a source for a good quality cover that fits?

2003
Just picked up a 2003 Z4 2.5i. Black with beige interior. Replacing the Front Bumper Trim. Putting some TLC into suspension, interior, etc.... It was this, or a Harley. The wife said no Harley (pins and needles when I was a fighter jet jockey-tired of it I guess)

Hey All,
Long time BMW owner, but this is my first Z. I'm slowly working my way through the entire line. Started with a '77 633CSi while in Germany in the mid-80's. Then I owned a 2001 530i for a couple years here in IL. Traded that in for a 2001 740iL (gorgeous, fun, and expensive to maintain). Traded that in for a 2003 X5 3.0, which I still own and will keep for a few more years. And today I bought my first Z. It's a 2006 Z4 3.0si, Sport, Premium, six speed manual, Bluetooth, CPO, 24k miles. Now I just have to wait until spring to enjoy it. |

Greetings from Norway
I have owned a 2000 e46 320i for 4 years, but last week I upgraded to a 2004 z4 2.2. Not so many people in the Norwegian bmw community drives a z, so I thought I'd register here. Picked up my car friday, and was straight up for a trackday, on snow, saturday First impressions: Great car! great engine/exhaust sound! great handling! (Even on snow and ice) No weather for a shoot of a clean car... More pics from the trackday here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/simonhh...565903/detail/ |

Hello, I just bought an '06 IB M Coupé with now 18,000 on it. Just popping my head in and saying hello. Like BMW Maniac it's a birthday, albeit early, present to myself.

'New' Z4
Greetings,
Last week I picked up my 'New' 2006 Z4 3.0i Roadster. It is Titanium Silver with Black Leather. It had 14700 miles on it and is CPO. The only options on it were Leather and power seats. Pretty much a stripper. The car is FANTASTIC! I haven't had this much driving fun since my first Datsun 240Z back in 1970. My other ride is a 2005 Dodge Ram Quad-cab with a Hemi. From one extreme to the other. I pretty much stole the car from the dealer. $19,300. It sat on the lot for 5 months. I was the only one interested and literally named my price. Then we went up $300. I have 18 months and 35000 miles left on the Factory warranty then the CPO warranty kicks in. They offered me a Factory Extended warranty which they said I could buy at any time before the original expires. It does the bumper-to-bumper plus scheduled maintenance for the duration of the CPO (6y/100k). The price was $1900. Question is: Is It Worth It???? I'll attach a Pic or 2 in a couple of days. 03 Z4
Just returned to the US after living in Munich for many many years... spent months trying to figure out what I wanted to buy. I enjoyed my BMW on the autobahns of Germany and couldn't resist buying a Z4 now in the States. I know I wont get those long stretches at 240kph here in the midwest, but its still fun to drive:
03 Z4 3.0i - Silver, Sport and Premium packages. I'm looking around for various upgrades to do to make it my own, once I do that I'll post some pics. Hope to see some Z4 meetups here in the area this summer?! |

Hello all. I just picked up a slightly used 2007 Z4 Coupe. 14k miles, 6 MT, PP, SP, black interior, dark poplar trim, headlight washers, ipod adapter. Awesome car, never had so much fun with my clothing on. I appreciate all the helpful posts and hope to contribute to this and other forums.

Hi all. I bought My Z4 used several months ago. I have always been an american car owner. My last car was an 81 corvette. But I figured it was time for a change and I'm glad I did. Man do I love my Z4. I should have gone this rout a long time ago.
I guess I should give a few details and say it's an O5 - 2.5 Auto with the sport and premium packages, beige leather interior, wood dash and Xenon headlights. Don't be put off by my handle. Im not angry. Just a little crazy.

We have be looking at Z4's for some time and to date have owned 3 new BMW cars. Well tonight we have had an offer from BMW which was hard to say no too. A new almost fully loaded Z4 3l roadster 40% below retail.
I have choice of color Carbon Black or the M Phoenix Yellow which is a $4k extra as the color is hand sprayed at the factory. The car has the following; what I can remember Auto Leather electric seats with memory & heated xenon headlights M multifunction leather steering wheel with shift paddles Automatic air conditioning rain Sensor Park distance control Alarm Fog lights Wind deflector 6 disk CD changer.

One question I have is can you program the auto roof to close from the key remote instead of using the key in the door lock? At the moment the roof will open using the key remote
