Skyer GB enthusiasts!

I finally got a confirmation from the manufacturer. The production has started on Friday Dec 2nd!

The boss was out of town but he did instruct them to start as soon as they see my email confirmation. He finally had some time to reply back.

So people! Most will see their Skyer spoiler before X'mas. They will ship as soon as a spoiler is finished in the order of GB list since everyone paid within the time guildline.

ok guys, school me on using this 3M doubside tape stuff, can it be fitted in cold climate conditions??? its not that bad but currently around 1 deg C.

do you have time to "reset" the piece if its not quite sitting right??

Do these need to be taped down and left for a set period?

Any tips for me??? i guess i may be one of the first to receive this item!!

Hey Beedub,

I personally will put the spoiler on top of the trunk. Make sure it's has the proper alignment to your liking. Use masking tape to indicate both edge on either side and the front centre alignment. Clean trunk surface and the bottom of the spoiler with alcohol. Wait until it drys. Apply two strip of 3M tape, one in the front edge and one at the rear edge of the spoiler. Trim the ends of the tape so both tape meet perfectly at both end to create a perimeter on the under side of the spoiler to keep the elements out.

Peel about 2 inches of the 3M tape on the front edge of the spoiler. Align to your masking tape. Slowly peel away the rest of the tape and apply pressure once done. They only need about 30 seconds of pressure to sit properly and 24 hour to cure. Prefer to be done at above 0 Celsius temperature.

If you made a mistake once it's done, pull it off right away and buy new tapes. These 3M tapes are not reusable hence the masking method.
