^ LOL good question. I got my car towed once from San Francisco because my gear lever decided to lose a c-clip -_-
I didn't have the threaded tow hooks on me, so I told my insurance company to send a regular tow truck instead of a flatbed. Those regular ones are actually pretty cool. Their cross arm can scoop up the car from underneath a given axle. I didn't know this until I checked it out and saw the tow guy prepping the tow in person. |

Front middle jack point pad?
Any of you folks actually have a jack pad at the front center point? I don't recall seeing one there since day 1.

Front jack point
Thanks-- got a part number pointer?
Checked realoem.com and found the usual jack points, but it only gives a qty of four for item 17. http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...64&hg=51&fg=80 |
