Headliner removal

Anyone know how to remove the headliner on the roadsters? Tried looking for a DIY but couldn't find one

Ummm I'm not talking about the top itself... Just the headliner that is on the inside of the car

mine was sagging before on an old car, there was a string or something that would hold the corner tight. Fortunately, it was under warranty. Its probably a pain in the ass

Do you have sagging or something? I am sure if you provide symptoms...this will ensure you get better feedback.

Yea I have a very slight sag. The plastic retainer seems to be loose but I can't get enough room to put it back on.

Roadsters have a headliner? Must be one of those fancy auto tops. Seriously though check out realoem.com for the diagram but I imagine that you will have to take off all four interior top trim pieces to get the headliner out. The oem trim piece removal kit is not much and is a wise investment if youre into interior removal/repair

I had the same sag on the 04. I just dropped the top part way and then was able to access the spot where the plastic had come from under the screw. I took and slid the plastic back under the screw and then used some JB weld to hold the plastic under the screw. No removal of the liner required. Allow JB weld to dry before dropping the top.
