10mm spacers on oem 18s

i have a set of 10mm spacers and i was thinking about throwing them on the Zed. any concerns with running them with the standard lug bolts? should i get a longer set? I like the pushed out look but dont wanna do it if it means i might be doing damage to the hubs. i know 10mm isnt very thick and its not probably not an issue, but i thought id ask anyway.

thanks

You will need 10mm longer bolts, stock have a 26mm thread length, so you will need bolts with about 36mm thread length. The bolts will need an absolute minimum of 5 threads engaged and a maximum of about 8. Each thread is 1.5mm pitch. The stock bolts on stock wheels engage about 6 threads (9mm), so about 7.5mm to 12mm is the range of thread engagement.

You also need to file down the hub lip down by about 1.5 mm, or get a hub centric spacers of 12mm or thicker. TMS and BavAuto has info on this as well.
