Feeler Z4C non-m

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
2008 Z4C 3.0si, auto, sport, 102k miles, loaded (with nav) and in Montego Blue with saddle brown seats and aluminum trim.

The Bad:
Bumpers have some failing clear.
Exterior has some small dings.
Still a great 20ft car, still turns heads and gets compliments as well.
Interior maybe a 5 or 6 out of 10, nothing horrible.
Aftermarket headlights, no longer xenon.

The Good:
BOTH cup holders are in perfect shape, recently replaced.
Aftermarket exhaust that sounds heavenly, at least I think.
New shocks/struts, tierods, control arms and front bushings. 2k miles ago
New water pump, some hoses, coolant tower and sensors and trans thermostat under tower. Only was done as prevention.
New Vanos Solenoids (Preventive)
Had megatronics sleeves, filter and trans fluid changed when I bought the car at 86K miles.
No rust, never driven in snow.

Any ideas on worth? Would make a great track car even.

Just cruising CarGurus miles puts it in the 15-18k ish for market value range some of the aftermarket & maintenance might help fetch the higher side here.

Where were you last year. Added my 07 coupe last year with 33k miles, think you’ve got the best color ever offered for an e86. It’s an ok color on the e85 but is completely stunning as a coupe.

I agree with you! 33k miles, that's incredible what color is yours? You know one is great but two is better. I shouldn't get rid of it but I need the room. EDIT, just saw you already have two lol

lol yeah both are black 03 e85 109k on the clock had it for over 11 years now Mrs says next car is hers lol. Waiting another year or so for our order on our bronco to be built. My 07 I couldn’t pass up. 1st owner had 2 year lease on it 2nd owner had it until me. The Mrs asked which car is staying outside so for winter to prove a point I shoe horned both Z4s the 128 and her TJ wrangler into out 3 car garage with her just shaking her head

I know how it is with space all too well. I had an 03 e85 as well, was just the 2.5i but I still miss it. Red with black and aluminum interior and a 5spd. GREAT car and easy to work on. Good luck on the Bronco, I wanted a lightning but when they told me I wouldn't get it until 2024 I passed.

If the “only” issue is space I’d say keep it even if you have to get a storage unit for it. When we had stuff in storage for over a year a guy kept his vette across from us and next to him another guy had his whole woodworking shop set up, so that’s always an option. With the love affair with these cars you’ll just never see what you’d want out of them on selling, too many smiles to put a dollar to, still missing your 03 I wouldn’t let a second one go. Hell or high water I’d find a way to keep it. Our insurance knows us well with toggling which car’s in/out of storage.
I’m hoping all goes well on the bronco, thanks. Our contracts at work are up for renewal around the eta for delivery so that’s what we were hoping for time frame on something new and the 128 then will get sold/traded for it when time comes so we’re not in a rush and don’t mind waiting it out.
