Changing headlights

Anyone change out the housings - either this or one similar without HID in order to save on bulb cats etc.

Please don't downgrade to Chinese crap. Visibility and output are sure to plummet with that setup as well

I've seen a few of these upgrades here from time to time. None of the stories ended well. Quality, fitment, design--just not there.

oem are the highest grade/quality headlight units you can find. all the aftermarket use horrible optics, non-polycarbonate lenses, and poor ballasts/bulbs/ignitors with less lumen output and long warmup time.

I love the look of those lights, but I would have to agree that the quality is below sub-par.

i think the oem units are better suited for the car. cant say i think these look good...and god forbid those blue ccfl rings burn out after a month or 2
