2008 Z4 M coupe quarter panels - bolted or welded
Wondering if anyone can confirm whether the quarter panels/rear fenders are bolted or welded on the M coupes.

There is a thread on this board that shows how to remove and reinstall the rear fenders.

how about the fronts? Can someone confirm what is involved with removal? Reason I ask is I have a very small ding on the top, right by the bottom of the windshield. I plan on looking to get it removed dentless, but there is no access via the door jam area, and not sure if they can get to it via the wheel well.
Does anyone know what a dentless repair guy does in these situations? They could drill a hole in the door jam area to insert the dentless tool, but that's not high on my list of things... |
