Why not, VS8s are a few pounds lighter and they're bigger, so you can upgrade the brake rotors if you want.

I had very lightweight O.Z Ultraleggeras on my last car, huge difference in weight per wheel, and I couldn't feel any difference on the road. To buy BBS forged (about all I'd consider for this car), you're spending upwards of $4,000 or more for wheels alone. I'd rather put that money in a rear dif and ESS software. Plus if you kerb an OEM wheel you can find a near new/perfect one cheap on eBay and/or forums, etc.
