New guy checking in
Some might remember my WTB thread in the classifieds not to long ago. Since finally finding one in May I figured I would now properly introduce myself. I did the whole Audi scene and while I loved my car hands down the VW/Audi scene is changing for the worst. I knew my next car would be an M. My heart was set on the E60 M5 and when one popped up at a local dealer it almost became a reality. But thankfully for my wallet I thought it out a little more and choose that I just couldn't financially make that type of commitment for not if but when something breaks. So I turned my search to the Z4MC because it wasn't just another M3 on the road. It was something unique, the rarity really attracted me. I can say I think I have talked with every owner on the east coast. I drove to 3 different states, deal with one pure asshole dealership, ended up buying from a private seller right here in NJ. Anyway I could not be more happy with my choice. I don't have the best pics as it currently is at the detailers getting a proper treatment. But here are a few from the day she was picked up...

Looks really good, and I'm sure it will only get better once detailed!
Congratulations, it is a unique car, not only in looks/rarity but in the driving experience it delivers! Welcome aboard! |

Congrats on the Car Justin! I think podunk Sussex County NJ might now have the highest concentration of Z4M Coupes in the nation.. now stop being a puss and bring that thing out to an autox/track day before Dan and I come steal your car!

From one new Z4m owner to another, welcome!
I'm curious, why do you say the VAG scene is going downhill? I've been to a few VAG shows lately and everyone seemed cool, though I'm not really in that scene.

Nice B6 A4, my friend in our team currently has a B8 2.0T without the quattro and it's currently on VMRs. Very clean ride.
I don't think VW/Audi Scene will ever die down. There will always VW/Audi enthusiasts out there and I think they easily outnumber bimmerheads. I was always on vwvortex and have always been a mk1/mk3/mk4 GTI fan until I got my first e30… then I stayed with bmw ever since. But still very much a vw/audi guy. Welcome to you and your M. -Jeff |
