Just traded in my M coupe...

It was time to let my baby go. After only 1.5 years of ownership I needed something more practical and comfortable for daily driving. I have been wanting an E9x M3 for years and finally found the perfect one in my price range. While it may not looks as stunning (but its close) as the M coupe I know I made the right decision. The back breaking 350 mile trip to take delivery confirmed this. Here are a few quick shots from the dealership.

Fully loaded with every option...nav, premium sound, extended leather, EDC, etc.

If someone is looking for a white M coupe with imola interior and carbon leather and nav there should be one popping up from the dealership on auto trader soon. My Remus exhaust and RE x pipe will be listed in the classifieds soon. I hope to sill linger on this board as its probably the best car community I have seen.

Congrats! Car looks great. You will miss the Z4M coupe though. But its still a very nice upgrade.

Nice new ride. Can you tell me where you traded your white m coupe? Phone number? How many miles were on the Coupe? Thanks

Congrats on the new car! I love the look of the M3. Hopefully this doesn't turn out like EndlessZ4M purchase!

Great color too, it's BEGGING for a ZHP knob, however

Thanks! That was one of the first mods I was going to do but now I may hold off for a little. I felt like the zhp knob was mandatory on the m coupe since the stock one felt rubbery and a firm hand is required to put it into gear.

On the M3 however, the tranny is much easier to get into gear and I've had no problems at all with the stock knob (plus I like that it lights up). The M3 clutch is much lighter as well.

Please stick around. I see no reason not to, and you're a good contributor. While we're Z4 focused we're also enthusiast based. Since you've owned a Z4, you still have input that's relevant.

Totally agree on how comfortable the car is. Especially with EDC. I miss that from time to time.

Agree on the feel, just think the throw is a tad too long though.

I do absolutely love it so far. The technology is just amazing with all of the idrive features, iPod integration, etc. Not to mention its ridiculously FAST.

Wow congrats on the new purchase! I've always wanted an E90 M3, hope to add one to the stable in 3 or 4 years.

I hope I get a shot at that Remus when you put it up, would love to try it out!

congrats on the move to an e90M though i came from a zcpM3 and don't miss the back seat at all. i do wish i could pack a snowboard though....

if i had the budget for another car to daily drive, it would be the e92M. nice pick up again.

Welcome to the E90! Looks sweet. I moved from the Z4MC to E92 M3 and although I was disgusted with the swap it really was my gf that hates the E90/E92 platform but have to agree the technology alone is like 5 years ahead of the Z4MC.

DONT do the ZHP knob. Looks horrible IMO. Go with the performance shift knob. Thats what I did and looks 10Xs better and cleaner.

I got an 09 E92 M3 that had 44000 miles on it and it is CPO with every option for $45000 from a BMW dealer up here before I found out about wholesale prices. Wholesale prices have these and I have seen them listed at $33k-$39k.

You just have to do some shopping.

Great car and engine and it will probably be a while for us to see another N/A M3 from BMW.

Oh, I just noticed that you managed to find one without sunroof! That's awesome, those are very rare
