The third pic is a good example of what the firewall braces should do in an accident.

That car is definitely repairable. Just looking at the pictures, the left wheel house support, left body bracket, left engine support all need to be replaced. These are just tack welded in place anyway from the factory.
Repairing this would actually not be that hard. Good project car..

When I had my incident it look very minor compared to this. Just slid into a ditch also, never left the ground. But I found that the suspension and the stuff you cant see are really sensitive to damage. What looked like $4000- $5000 worth of damage was more like $12000. But if its clean underneath, I agree that this would be a fun little project. If I had the room.

Wonder what the reserve is? Would be a great project car or part it out.

I am not saying that this would not be inexpensive in parts. Just relatively easy to fix and make right.
You must also remember that 60% of the cost is labor and not parts.
My rebuild (that is almost resolved) would have been almost $18K. Not just the $4K I have invested in parts, if my time was added up…..

I already contacted the seller about parting it out if it does not sell. Don't think it will though... so parting out is the next best option.

We really doing this?

Didn't realize it had carbon leather. Should've called that out as well on top of the eis exhaust
I suppose we should wait to see the outcome of the listing.

The owner of the coupe just contacted me and stated that he was not interested in parting out the car. At least not yet.

At least he knows it's an option and there are a lot folks interested in parts. Good move contacting him Ship.

Considering I have the same Dinan brace set up, it's a beautiful pic
