We literally finished this today so its not a really clean pic. The production versions will be completely polished.

Eloy,

Do you have a db meter you can use to conduct a sound check? Here is how the sound check is conducted:

With a warm engine, the db meter is held at the same level of the exhaust, one meter behind and at a 45 degree angle. The car is then revved to 2/3 of maximum RPM and peak noise is measured. The pops and backfires are ignored.

Maximum db's at most places are 96 +/- 2 db's. (maximum 98 db's)

If this exhaust meets the specs or there is some way to make them meet the sound levels (temporary db killers inserted into the tips) I will buy this and you can bet there will be a lot of customers here in Germany and other places in Europe (those who track their cars) will do the same.

, I'm one of the few that have held off on exhausts for a while.. so definitely interested,

Since this is the GT Race I'm assuming with the muffler delete, will this be street legal? And will it pass state inspections?

Yes we have a db meter. LEt me see if I can get Laidback back here to do the test as he has the ONLY production one out there right now.

I heard this exhuast today in person and all I can say is WOW! It is by far the best exhaust note I have heard on any S54 equipped vehicle. It absolutley howls, it actually reminds me a bit of the V10 scream on the M5/M6. I can't wait for them to go into production so I can get mine. How soon will they be available Eloy?

I actually felt the same way about the tips until I saw them in real life. I was quite surprised how nice they looked, it really didn't look out of place to me,

Yeah, we went through this guys. The tips are going to be as it has always been. I dont want to follow everyone else and do the same thing. I think it sets our system apart from all others and it fits the lines of the Z4 well.
