How to attach shift knob
I just purchased the zhp shift knob to help improve feel, and found all kinds of posts on how to remove the stock knob. My question is, how to attach the new one. I know I need to line up that notch and push down, but is there anything special that I need to do to keep the boot from falling down(glue, zip tie, etc), or will everything just lay into place once the knob is fully pushed into place? I would like to know before I install it, so I don't have to risk hitting myself in the face or breaking anything.
thank you in advance for your help. |

Boot is not attached to the knob but it held up by the shifter. Just pull the stock knob off and you will see. once you put the zhp knob on it will line up to the boot, you'll see.

You'll think you're going to break it you'll be pulling so hard. But you won't. Just keep firm solid upward pressure till it finally comes off. Watch that you don't hit yourself in the face when it breaks loose. The ZHP will go on much easier than the old one came off. But make sure it's seated or it will slide off.

That's a good idea. Wish I had done it. Fortunately it came up fast but stopped in time. |

I changed mine a few months ago but really got used to the wearing panties. Which I've been wearing ever since. I mean what?
