Arrow Race Ramps

Found some info using search function of some of you guys using race ramps, but I believe the posts I read were of members with stock suspension at the time of posting.

Anyone have any experience or recommendations of which ramps to purchase for a lowered M.

These stupid factory jacking points are annoying as hell.

TIA!

I use a low profile aluminum jack with no problems, coupled with Reverselogic inserts. My ramps are ProRamp for low profile cars...

The jack and ramps are Private Label Brands up here - I suspect Sears sells the same shit in the US under Craftsman.

I know for non lowered cars the 56" work just fine. How much clearance do you have? They (RaceRamps) DO make longer race ramps for ultra low cars as well.

or do what I did. Build some home made ramps out of glues pieces of 2x4s and use as a ramp to get you a few inches up and then jack the car up.

I can fit my jack underneath - I bought a low profile one for an e30 I used to have, but its the damn jacking points that are annoying. I feel like I'm going to break them off using a regular jack. Worst case is car slips off the jack since regular jacks aren't really made for that kind of shape jack point.

Bah.

Bah.
I am assuming you jack the car from either side. In my case my car was missing all 4 jackpads around the car. So I jack it either in the front using the hockey puck thing or in the rear using the intersection of the cross members. Give it a shot next time. Makes life easier
