Hey all:

I am starting up a feeler to see if anyone else out there missed out on Starscream's last intravee group buy.

We need 10 peeps for Starscream to place the order.

No - Starscream does not source the KC420i Alpine unit, but those are pretty easy to come by. I have found them on Ebay and also on this forum from time to time.

The hard item to get is the Intravee because it is no longer sourced here in US.

My car is still in winter storage and with the weather being how it is I doubt i'll be taking it out anytime soon

There are plenty of vids on youtube for now to make your mind up

Here's a unsolicited endorsement: If you can afford to go this route it's the only way to go! Much better control of your iPod and just as easy to install as the Dice unit. Great communication and quick shipping on the part of Starscream, whom I purchased my unit through. Thank you.

My car is a 2006 3.0si without NAV, so it has the one-line display. My problem is that I have no appreciation for the benefit of one of these units. Can anyone comment?

My understanding is that the prime benefit is that I can use the multi-function wheel to scroll through songs on an iPod. Is that basically it?
