I always apply a little bit of pressure to the right side of the knob meaning I am pushing it to the left. Not hard but just enough. I think maybe the times I have heard it grind was because I was shifting too fast. But really I just don't know. Never happened when the stock fluid was in there. And I'm sure I am shifting the exact same way.
On a side note, I'm running Redline 75w140 in the diff and it's smooth as butter. I may dump the RP and put in some Redline in the tranny. |
