thanks guys. i drove the car today and am very pleased with the stoptech kit. nice firm pedal feel and monster force under hard braking. did the bedding procedure on the car and after 5 runs from 100-10km/hr over and over, these things just want more abuse thrown their way. the tires dramatically changed the feel of the car. they make my old hankooks feel like mush. not harsh at all, but very resposive. traction is much better as well. now i know what all the hype was about with these tires. i was debating the ad08 as well, and although they might be superb tires as well, i dont regret choosing the PSS instead.

Wow! That's one of the nicest Z4's I've ever seen. Obviously, everyone has a taste for this & that, but IMO, you hit it out of the god damn park.

Very classy Dubsesd. Glad to not see bright red calipers on that car.

thanks for the comments everyone!. i chose silver for the calipers because i want the car to look as oem+ possible, and i like the understated look.

here is a rear picture of the 265/30/19's i downsized to with the michelins. just as i though, i measured and compared both tires (hankook v12 275/30/19) and the michelins where wider by almost 0.5" in the smaller size. these are mounted on a 10" rim

Visually I think the car "sat" better before the PSS install, but performance vise it's probably a lot better now. Looks really good with those new brakes.

im not sure what you mean by it "sat" better? they are just different tires on the same wheels.

Looking great as always, she gets better with every thread. Your reflectors match the body better than mine, is it a decal or painted?

I mean it's too low now, it was more visually pleasing before the change to coilovers. The distance between the edge of the rims and the wheel arches were even all the way around before, but it's not looking bad now by any means.

I'm interested in PSS's as well, are they on the "highest" setting on the pictures?

I didn't change the coilovers. I've had h&r coilovers since last year. I installed PSS as in Michelin pilot super sport.

Maybe it's the angle of the pics that fooled my eyes. So how are your H&R coilovers set up? Have you lowered more than the minimum?

Edit: Thought PSS was the Bilstein coilovers. *Facepalm*

Exactly. Stock ride height is always too high. "Slammed" is too low. This car is perfectly lowered. Perfect stance.
