The real question is how much would people want to pay for a diffuser in CF? Straight bolt on without modification and reversible seems to be a requirement. :

Why does everyone want this stuff in CF ?!?!?!? Why spend so much money on CF!?!??!? All this shit about form and function can be build in fibreglass a LOT cheaper.
Fibreglass is your friend. Cheaper and more affordable !! If you want the cosmetics, get it wrapped or dipped. Spend more money on beer. |

The FancyWide aluminum diffuser, while not cosmetically pleasant, and require a significant amount of work to fit around the OE exhaust, cost $450 with shipping. I think that's probably your best bet in a starting point. That was about the upper price point I would pay for a cosmetic part underneath a car. The $526 for the spoiler is priced just at my upper price point too. Anything more (like the $900-1,xxx range for some of the name brand, recognized CF diffuser mentioned before) would probably be too rich for my blood. I don't mind spending a few grand for wheels and tires, (although I cheaped out and got the clearance Apex wheels) I don't mind paying a few grand for a good set of suspension, I don't mind paying a few grand for brakes. Heck I probably wouldn't bat an eyelash about paying more than a grand for fart cans (even though I'm not into that sort of thing). Cosmetic, none performance inducing parts is a $500 tops for me, IMO.

$300-350 is about where I draw the line for cosmetic items, thats why I was disappointed to see the coupe spoiler go for so much higher than the roadster version.

Personally, I'm not a huge fan of exposed CF on cars anymore. They were cool about ~10ish years ago, but over the years its just gotten to be too much. You could probably find a Prius nowadays with CF parts and that kinda bothers me.
As far as the diffuser goes, I would want something that has a little function to it. If its ONLY cosmetic, I wouldnt mind, but it would definitely have to be ~$250-300 at that point. Anything more and Id want something that had a (kinda) noticeable affect on aero. Dont care much for material as long as its strong, light, and heat resistant. Yes, CF does well in those areas, but the extra money spent on CF could go towards a little R&D into having a functional diffuser. My 2 cents. Just holler when yall come up with something

You'll be really disappointed when you back out of your driveway and drag the expensive CF diffuser.

Price depends on looks/functionality of course.
I'd say my max is about 500$. Though i agree it wouldn't need to be made of CF. Glossy black it is. Talking about functionality - it shouldn't be to hard to design a longer under tray that covers some of the components, that would at least reduce uplift. Include some vents for the differential lock and maybe the gearbox to prevent from overheating. Thatīs it |

Personally I love the look of the Schnitzer one and the usability of the Varis.
For a difuser like Varis I could go to 1000 euros if it had been tested and at high speeds it will not break in to pieces. |

For some reason I like the crazy look from Fancy Wide (although I hate their company name on it, i'd probably paint in black). I see some guys here don't like the carbon fiber look, but I love it a little too much, I'm obsessed. My car is black so the carbon doesn't stand out like a sore thumb but knowing it's there makes me feel all tingly inside
