FS: Immaculate 2006 Z4M Roadster Black/Red ~23k miles

BIMMERPOST / Classifieds
Asking Price:
None

Item Interest
FOR SALE: My 2006 Z4 M Roadster convertible (production date 05/2006), Black Sapphire Metallic (BSM)/Imola Red leather. Car has ~23,300 miles. 330hp 3.2L S54 engine, Bi-xenon, Navigation System (w/ 2011 map disk). As the second owner, I purchased the Z4 M at the end of July 2011 @ ~20,200 miles from Bob Smith BMW in Calabassas, SoCal. The car is in absolutely MINT condition outside and inside (must see). Was driven ~5k per year by the previous owner, and about ~3k by me since purchased. Purchased as a weekend/cruiser/project car. Has been tastefully modded.

The car was purchased completely stock. Since then, I have installed the following @ European Auto Source (EAS):
1. Brand New complete H&R Coilovers ~ $1800 (installed 10/2011)

Other enhancements:
3. Cleared front turn signals & clear bulbs all-around.
4. BSM painted front refelectors
5. Completely blacked-out ///M badges w/ tri-color decals (EASILY reversible back to chrome). Badges are original, were NEVER removed for blacking-out.
6. Blacked-out front kidney grill surrounds (stock chrome grills available)
7. 35% Tint all-around (driver/passenger windows & convertible roof window)
8. ///M 6spd ZHP shift knob (brand new)
9. DICE Silverline DUO Ipod integration kit (discretely installed)

Car handles like a dream and is a blast to drive, especially with the top down on a sunny Southern California day.

All pictures were taken at EAS shortly after mounting the BBS CH-Rs. Red BBS center caps, Red mirror caps installed shortly thereafter and therefore not pictured.

MSRP new: $60k.
Asking: $32k OBO

*** BBS wheels NOT included ***

Beautiful car, and nicely modded. But IMO, and don't take this personally, I'm thinking $38k might be a bit optimistic. As is usually the case anyway, it's hard to get your money back on upgrades. If you feel like going to the trouble, try to put as many OEM parts back on and sell the upgrades separately. And low mileage is only good for just so much. I'm not sure that even an '06 MZ4 Coupe would bring that much (example, Roadfly has an '07 with 34.5k at $33).

Also on the same site right now is an '06 Roadster with 27k miles and he's asking $24,900 and an '07 with under 34k miles for under $31k.

Best of luck though.

Nice car, looks good with those wheels. Is your MSRP price including the cost of the modifications as the stock Roadster wasn't $66K new. GLWS

Great looking cars and nicely modded!!! However, the asking price is pretty high for the model year and mileage. GLWS

Yea, I have a 08, almost the identical car, black carbon interior and I got at 20k miles for 34k bucks from dealer 1 1/2 year ago. Don't see you getting 38k even with the BBS wheels. Which need center caps BTW. But of course I have no plans of turning mine loose for sometime unless one heck of a deal comes along on a M6 Convertable. Then I might trade out.....Naw!

Regards

Clear corners.

Sorry to threadjack, but what bulbs did you use to get your clear corners?

Great looking car, BTW.

The bulbs are stock. The clear corner is achieved by removing the amber glass cover that encapsulates each of the bulbs.
