Any pre-fabbed "race cat" solutions for the Z4 M other than Supersprint?

I'm likely going to be doing exhaust work soon, seeing SS Stepped headers down to $1600 is VERY tempting. I'll be doing software with headers, but I'm somewhat hesitant to run without any sort of cats. Exhaust odor is really my primary concern, loud drone would be a bit of an issue, but that's generally easy to remedy by swapping components around.

Are there ANY options other than SS? The section 1 w/race cats are just exorbitantly expensive. I don't think I could possibly justify paying $2500 for cats, I'd deal with stinky exhaust for that price-tag.

How bad would drone be running SS Stepped headers without straight-through section 1 pipes? Exceeding 100db is not an issue for me, but head-splitting drone at 70mph certainly would be.

Thanks for any feedback.

You should just get some metal cats and have an exhaust shop weld it up for you.
Not really a hard job for an exhaust shop and will be way cheaper than the SS parts.

Thanks. I'll probably just order some straight pipes and have an exhaust shop weld them in.

I assume the "rear" O2 sensors need to be relocated behind the new cats?

I'm not worried about inspection, I know a guy that knows a guy, but drone and exhaust odor do matter, since I like to take road trips in the car, and use it as a DD when there isn't snow on the ground.
