I was at the gas station the other day and another younger guy started asking me all sorts of stuff about my car (How I like it, how it handles, etc.). Then he pointed to the ///M badge on the hatch and asked me if I added it myself.

I was parked at Home Depot today between an Audi TT Roadster and a new model Mazda Miata. We all arrived back at our cars at approximately the same time and the Miata guy just nodded and took off. The Audi guy and I laughed and spent a good 15 minutes comparing very nice cars.

When I first got her back 'home', SOOO many people would stop and stare. Just rolling up to the store everyone's faces, jaws dropped. I think that's the best compliment I could ever get. They never get old!

Not so much a "what kind of car is that" story, but more of a story about just what a interesting car we all have.
Just this morning, at 6:45AM getting gas for Exhaust 'Fest, I pulled in next to a guy in a '63 split window Corvette. (Wouldn't you know it my Iphone was at home charging! ) What a beautiful car--silver, red interior, perfect showroom condition and fully restored. I wanted to find out more, but after he'd answered a couple of my questions all this guy could do was ask questions about my car. Key comment from him was "classic look--just a classic look, beautiful". It's kind of nice to get that kind of attention from someone who drives a exemplary piece of American car history. |

My brother calls it a "Top Gear" car. How many people have that? We do.

I get comments all the time. Thumbs up while driving. Last week in Manhattan a guy driving a Maybach pulled up next to me at a traffic light and said I fucking love your car man! The guy was Jay-Z... No shit

Dude, Like I really pulled out my phone at a stop light like a little groupie bitch. As far as I am concerned, really doesn't matter if you think it didn't happen.

LMAO yep, got it. Just remember we are talking Manhattan, go to Lava and you'll see plenty of celebs hanging out and spending more money that I make a month that night. I just happened to be at a stop light in midtown while the guy drove up. Not like we partied or he invited me to kick it with him and Kanye.

What kind ofcar is that?
My grandson loves for me to pick him up from his school. He always asks me, "Can I drive?". We both laugh.
He's 12. But the looks we get from the other kids. Makes me feel like I'm in high school all over again. Yeah, middle-aged crazy, I admit it.

Driving north on the Atlanta Autobahn (GA400) a couple of weeks ago and I look in my rear view mirror and I see this 90's, I think it was a Buick or Oldsmobile, driving like a bat outta hell and he manages to pull up next to me and he sticks his head out his window and just stares at my car. That was it, he slowed back down to about 55 and I carried on. Weird.
