Got a question ...

does any one know what the latch is for that is above the "cubby hole" between the seats is for. The one I'm asking about is about shoulder height, and looks just like the one for the lower hatch where if you had a disc changer it would be. I looked in the manual and didn't find anything. I can press it but nothing happens. I really don't know how to explain it any better, sorry. Maybe it doesn't do anything, but I'd like to know. BTW it's a 2006 roadster.

That button manually releases the convertible top when open so you can manually lift it to close it.
My 2006 manual shows the release button on page 27.
