DSP Part number 65129125751
I am installing Audivox/Dice Mediabridge. I love tearing down the M systems and seeing what make them tick. The problem is the current DSP by some quirk does not have a coaxial port. I even opened it up to see if it had somehow broke off and it wasn't there. I purchased a new one and now I am looking for the part number of the coaxial cable that comes out of the port at the base. Does anyone have any clues on this.

According to my list that amp while a DSP amp, doesn't have the coaxial connection. Not all DSP amps have them. The amp with the coaxial connector is 65126963304.
DICE unit has a DSP adapter that's a separate purchase and used if the amp requires it... Otherwise it's used without one. If your car doesn't have a coaxial connector then neither has the amp and a DSP adapter isn't required to be installed.

Clearancediver, do you know if the part number 65126963304 fits in a 2006 Z4M?

The problem is once it's connected I have no audio leading me to think the DSP adapter is a necessary component. Unless there is somewhere else it needs to connect besides the DSP, i.e. the radio.

I've got a DSP convertor that came with a used MediaBridge I bought off here. I'll post up a pic and instructions. Let me dig it up.

Sorry.... Wasn't on the site recently. There is a sequence to initiate the Dice unit. You can google it to find it. If I remember it right.....basically need to disconnect DSP unit from power... Connect everything up and then connect DSP unit to battery.

As for whether or not that amp fits a Z4M... You need to go to Realoem.com to see what amps fit. .....304 has a coaxial connection... If there is no coaxial connection on your existing amp, or no provision in your wiring/it doesn't exist, then it doesn't call for it. Interestingly while my Carver Hifi system calls for the ....304 amp, I used another amp that while is a DSP amp, doesn't have the coaxial connector. The radio still has the DSP settings and they do effect the output, but my Dice unit is now non functional. My ....304 amp has issues and had to replace it with something that worked better. Almost impossible to get a good used amp these days.
