Gruppe M appears to use a K&N oiled filter.

Order was processed today. Total was $568.70.

Will arrive on or before October 12th.

There is still a few days to order it for October before the shipments are sent out.

If you want to be a guinea pig with me, let me know and I can give the contact info.

That's pretty counter-intuitive, since oil doesn't mix well with water. I suppose a degreaser is used for cleaning?

Look at the cleaning and recharge procedure for the GruppeM => http://gruppem.co.jp/en/maintenance.html

How else would you expect to clean an oiled filter?

Yeah, reading the Gruppe M instructions, you have to use a special cleaner, and then rinse it from the inside out.

interesting. He was having issues with the car surging and it gave him quite a bit of trouble it sounds like.

I sold mine a while ago.

Never really had much or the surging. At times it may have been slightly rough, but I didn't have it on long enough for the ecu to adjust properly I'm guessing.
