What company makes section 1 and 2 a 1 full pipe?
Hi,
I was wondering if there is a company that makes section 1 and 2 a long full straight pipe instead of 2 separate pipes? Was trying to find on google, but whenever I put pipe midpipe exhaust etc it only shows RE and supersprint. Thank you |

2 separate pipes is the same as having one larger bore pipe.... either or works nicely.

Not a lot of choices for section 1.
DKF is the only other one and they have the S pipes welded together with tabs and separate CAT/resonator piece.

I think part of the reason it hangs lower is because their transmission mount bolts are longer, causing clearance issues.

The stock midpipes go past the trans mount before heading for the center.
All of the aftermarket pipes sweep in toward the tunnel too soon off the headers. That makes them go across the bottom of trans mount. Some more than others. There's a tread here somewhere with pictures. May have been Rated M's thread. I have the RE's and had to twist them to clear the trans mount. One of them hangs down quite a bit. IIRC, Rated M had to do some fiddling with the RE X-pipe as well, to get it to not rest against anything.

Haven't been around here in a loooong time. Thinking about installing the euro headers I bought, waaay back when, this spring. Any solutions for midpipes that use high flow cats? Original plan was to keep pre- and post-cat O2 sensors, but maybe options have changed...

Not much has changed.
Either modify the OE section or find a DKF for sale.
