Just hit 95K miles, and what a spot to do it!
Last weekend my wife and I took the Z4 up to Yountville for their annual wine festival. Coming back to San Francisco, we hit 95,000 miles just as we crossed the Golden Gate Bridge. My apologies for the terrible photos, they were taken with my iPhone while driving.
The next day, I treated the Z4 to an oil change, and decided to snap a few more photos while there. **As a disclaimer, the black tag is photoshopped in. I wondered about ordering the new CA Black tags, wanted to see how it looked. I understand they are for classic cars, but I thought, why not. |

I'm the 2nd owner. The previous owner racked up a lot of miles due to his work commute. Although the paint was in great condition when I bought, I recently had it repainted after someone took their key around the entire car. It was sapphire black metallic but I had it repainted with jet black.
At that time, I had the M bumper installed, and had the badges shaved, including the BMW roundel on the trunk. The front control arms, bushings, tie rods, etc were replaced at 90,000. Next up, shocks. |
