Dyno after Euro Headers

Before and after Euro OEM catless headers.
Other mods: RPI intake scoop and filter, SS X pipe, SS Powerloop exhaust, CDV.

I'm surprised that the HP increase is only above 6000 rpm.

That is possible. I had a look under the car and could not see anything obviously wrong with the wiring or sensors..

So next step is the ECU or O-Cha's fix for the CELs.

I think the issue might be like what happens when you have an o2 sensor failure, the engine runs rich. O-Cha's fix is a simulator that sends the ECU a normal signal so it's not trying to compensate. The ESS tune turns off the sensor which does the same thing.

I could also be completely wrong... I'm just guessing.

I've never seen stock or euro headers. But is the only difference between them cats and no cats? Cause if they have exact same bends and diameters, the power gain only above 6000 sounds about right as I would think thats when the motor starts producing enough exhaust gasses to make the catted/stock headers restrictive...Just my guess though.

These are the dyno results pal got after installing his euro headers:

You can see his thread here: http://www.zpost.com/forums/showthre...t=euro+headers Looks like either something's wrong with your car or something's wrong with the dyno.

I think Pal is running a complete factory exhaust set up aside from the headers. Kav is probably losing some power at low rpms due to the loss of backpressure with the race cans and x pipe. I have the csl headers with ss section 1, x pipe and race cans. I have not dynoed yet but I can feel all the power come on late around 5K.

Unless he has changed, Kav has powerloops, not race.

Looks like your max power was falling off around 7k rpm before the headers.
