Exactly.
Also the transmission mount doesn't need a lot of stiffening up. There is very (very!) little weight on them. Maybe 10kg or so.. 95% of the total weight rests on the engine mounts. I've used some generic vibration dampers (40x30mm, m8 thread) and 2 rings to space it up and that was just enough. Costs like $10 or so for the pair.... the old ones are a bit bigger/wider, but the rubber is softer. If you get bolt through dampers there is no damping of noise at all. If you don't want a diy solution on the cheap, get the rogue transmission mounts: http://www.rogueengineering.com/rogue/TM/TM.html If you want to stiffen up the shifting, you should stiffen up the rear bushing that sits between the shifter frame and the chassis. that is a very soft bushing.

Well i got the bad news yesterday that changing the bushings and clips in the linkage are not the problem. The trans has to be rebuilt. Diffs online has said that ill never have the 2nd gear problem again. That alone might be worth the 4900$ price tag.

Transmission is finished an enroute to my mechanic. Unfortunatley my Vorschlag mounts (which i was charged for) are on backorder and have to be installed at a later date. I will post my experience when its all back together.

Ok all is installed. Initial impressions arent bad. Its raining here and ive been keeping it under 5k for break in puposes. I did however put 100 miles on it. Feels great. Definetly faster. 2nd gear, it has to be said tho, still feels notchy as shit. I didnt grind it but it feels like it will if i shift too fast. Well just have to see after the break in period.

This thing is amazing. Its definetly worth the money. I put over 1400 miles on it and its like butter. You can slam 2nd gear as hard as you want and itll ask for more. I can chirp tires. Night and day difference.
