Yeah too bad you guys aren't stateside. I would love to check everything out in person.
I recall that last time I volleyed e-mails with Sav, he mentioned deletion of A/C even for stage 1? Also, I don't believe he gave me any pricing info for the different stages and a list of what they include, etc. Would you mind listing everything out for the rest of us that may be interested in boosting? Thanks! |

mehhh losing the a/c would be a problem for me, not that i use it much but more the fact if i mod a car i like it to keep all stock functions, i am however really pleased to see the z4m really kicking supercar ass, i think us supercharged guys now need to step up to the plate and show these guys what our cars can do ;-)
just need to find someone with a supercar and find somewhere safe to run, im just not a fan of road runs, its too risky on numerous counts, ive gotta alittle boy the needs me :-) had a really good look at the clips and it doesnt look like the mp4s were really Trying if ou get me, no doubt they had a quick squirt but im wondering as they were dealer cars if they werent really racing?? i know i wouldnt if was test driving a car or trying to sell them, mclaren really wouldnt be to happy about that ;-) either way, the z4m here is a beast, looks great and clearly has supercar performance :-) i still maintain 500rwhp i for me the perfect combo on this car.....

Unfortunately you lose the a/c. It's one of those things. U still have windows.. Supercharger will never catch a turbo... Ever. Supercharger is nice cause it's zero lag.
The mclarens were giving them horns! Balls to the wall. I would not post shit on here to show off the power if it's not true. |

i wouldnt be too sure about that...... as much as your turbo car is awesome, theirs always s/c car just as powerful.. ;-) i appreciate the car to the max but to say s/c will never catch a turbo is nearly silly talk, same outcomes to different characteristics....

beedub, we'd need at least a stage 3 kit to keep up with a well modded 996tt, or a stock supercar on the highway. Sad but true. For example, one of my friends has a 500rwhp ESS M3 and another has a 600rwhp 996tt
The supercharged m3 goes 60-130 in about 9 seconds and the turbo porsche in about 6.5 seconds its a huge difference Our VT2-500 cars are best sticking to our first 3 gears against top power cars, or racing at tracks with turns ; )

Supercharge z4 is a gentlemans fast car. You still have the Ac which makes it more comfortable. And a smoother ride. But you would need a definite high boost to catch a turbo on 1.2. Rob green here in SA did a supercharged v8 M3 and he got out run by a E36 M3 turbo by Sav. Turbo is just animal. I never meant to run the supercharger down if u thought that

E36s weigh considerably less than the e46, so it did very well to be only 12kph behind a much lighter similarly powered car :-)

Also the M3 CSL weights less than an E36 M3 minus all the stuff that was added but should still be less or equal to it. I'm just saying

Hey Pora
Was actually at Sav today and he showed me the videos on his phone - very impressive car you have there. Would be keen to ride shotgun next time we at a track day if possible! Looked like his turbo conversion on the E90 is also nearly done, would be interesting to see what that does. Anyway very nice car bud and hopefuly chat at the next bmw club day. |

im pretty certain a stock CSL and a stock e36 m3, the e36 would be lighter!! check it out and tell me im wrong ;-) either way, this is no doubt a sick setup but to say a S/C will never beat turbo ever is nigh on ignorant...... op i love the car, love the turbo setup, your car is awesome.... well done :-)
